Centre for European Reform

The Centre for European Reform is a London-based think tank which supports European integration while arguing for institutional reform of the European Union. The centre was founded in 1996 by Charles Grant, former defence editor of The Economist magazine, and is funded largely by corporate donations.

The CER's advisory board includes two former British ambassadors Lord Hannay and Lord Kerr as well as two past or present European Commissioners, António Vitorino and Pascal Lamy. Lord Robertson, former head of NATO, is also a board member.
